KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- Supreme Leader Amir al-Mu'minin, while leading Eid prayer at the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar, stated that if Afghans were destined to perish from bombings and military attacks, it would have occurred during the wars with Russia and the United States.
Addressing thousands of attendees, the leader of the Islamic Emirate attributed Afghanistan's victory and stability to reliance on Islam, preservation of faith and unity among the people. He emphasized that adherence to Islamic values ensures no country can harm Afghanistan.
Supreme Leader Amir al-Mu'minin called on the public to support the Islamic Emirate, noting that those in the system are sons of the land. He urged officials to uphold justice in governance, warning that oppression cannot sustain a system.
He stressed the importance of implementing decrees and laws to reform society and establish order. The leader added that without Islam, Afghanistan might have fallen under the control of America and NATO, but it now stands independent and free.
On economic matters, Supreme Leader Amir al-Mu'minin advised traders against hoarding goods and to assist the needy during difficult times. He warned that legal action would be taken against those hoarding for up to 40 days.
