Islamic Emirate Borders Minister: Afghans Will Never Accept Durand Line Fencing

KABUL — Noorullah Noori, Minister of Borders, Ethnicities and Tribes for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated that Afghans will never accept the barbed wire fencing along the Durand Line, comparing it to barbed wire on the chest of the people.

Noori reiterated that Afghanistan shares no official border with Pakistan, a position he said has been announced many times.

He made these remarks during a meeting in his office with political analysts, ethnic influencers and university professors. Noori praised the Islamic Emirate for resolving ethnic conflicts, protecting borders and fostering national unity.

Mohammad Ali Jan Ahmad, Deputy Minister for Jirgas and Tribal Coordination Affairs, stated that ideological and doctrinal unity is key to success for any society and system.

Political analysts and ethnic influencers at the meeting emphasized unity with the ruling system and commitment to defending Afghanistan's territorial integrity, echoing Noori's sentiments.
