KABUL — Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, announced several new appointments issued by decree of the Amir al-Mu'minin.
Mullah Musa Kalim Abunasr, previously commander of the 4th security district in Kandahar province, has been appointed as police commander of Takhar province.
Mullah Ruh al-Amin Ruhani, former deputy of Corps 203 Mansuri, has been named commander of the Support Brigade of the Ministry of National Defense.
Mullah Abdul Ali, also known as Mullah Agha and previously police commander of Takhar province, has been appointed as commander of the 4th security district in Kandahar province.
Mullah Azizullah Tayeb, former head of the Ulema Council of Zabul, has been appointed as head of Zabul University.
The appointments reflect personnel changes in provincial security leadership, defense ministry roles, and educational administration across Takhar, Kandahar, and Zabul provinces.
