The leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ordered 21 new appointments in various ministries, courts and provincial offices.
Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced the changes on the directive of the Amir al-Mu'minin. The posts include positions in the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and several provincial and university roles.
Maulvi Mohammad Gul Sayad was appointed military deputy of the Supreme Court. Sheikh Sardar Mohammad Abul Faizan was named head of the Central Dar al-Ifta.
