The 13th Kabul Volleyball Championship has begun with nine teams taking part. The National Volleyball Federation organized the event in cooperation with the General Directorate of Olympics, Physical Education and Sports.

The competitions opened in the presence of Maulvi Ahmadullah Wathiq, Director General of Olympics, Physical Education and Sports, Hafiz Ahmad Jan Zadran, Technical and Professional Deputy of the Directorate, Maulvi Atiqullah Khalid, Head of Physical Education and Sports of Kabul Province, and other officials.

In the first match, the Red Crescent Club team defeated the Star Club team by a score of three to zero. The competitions are scheduled to continue for one week.
