
14-Year Feud Between Two Families in Kabul's Surobi District Resolved
Kabul province authorities announced the resolution of a 14-year enmity between the Mohammad Umar and Samargul families in Wuzbin village of Surobi district.
The feud originated from a forced marriage that resulted in one death and led to years of violence, clashes, and personal injuries between the two families.
Reconciliation was achieved through the mediation efforts of scholars, tribal elders, local leaders, and relevant officials, according to a press release from Kabul province authorities.
Both families pledged to live like brothers and forget their past differences, marking an end to the long-standing conflict.
The announcement highlights ongoing efforts by local authorities and community figures to resolve tribal and familial disputes peacefully in the region.
