337 Afghan Refugee Families Return from Pakistan and Iran

Three hundred thirty seven families totaling one thousand nine hundred one Afghan refugees returned from Pakistan and Iran on Friday.

The families crossed into Afghanistan at border points in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Helmand and Herat provinces.

Three hundred four families returned through Torkham in Nangarhar province.

Fifteen families entered via Spin Boldak in Kandahar province.

Two families arrived at Baramcha in Helmand province.

Sixteen families crossed at Islam Qala in Herat province.

The High Commission for Addressing the Problems of Refugees provided the returnees with registration, financial aid and temporary shelter.

The commission also organized informational sessions on the Islamic system and education.

Four hundred three SIM cards were distributed to the families.
