Seventy commanders from central and provincial security units under Afghanistan's Ministry of Finance graduated from a ten-day training seminar. The program was conducted by the Protection and Special Operations Executive Unit.

These commanders are part of security detachments and mobile monitoring units. Their primary duties involve protecting Ministry of Finance institutions as well as commercial goods. They are also tasked with preventing smuggling, revenue evasion, and other customs violations.

At the graduation ceremony, Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenues Mufti Abdul Mateen Saeed addressed the graduates. He urged them to make fair decisions without bias. Saeed specifically called for avoiding tribalism and linguistic discrimination in their work. He encouraged the promotion of unity and the embodiment of trustworthiness and courage.

The deputy minister's remarks focused on the importance of integrity when dealing with enforcement matters. Graduates were reminded of their role in upholding the law impartially across different regions.

The training seminar equipped the commanders with necessary skills for their operational responsibilities. Participation included personnel from various provinces as well as central units. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the successful participants. All seventy commanders completed the requirements of the ten-day course successfully.

Such programs are designed to improve the effectiveness of security operations within the financial sector. Officials expect the graduates to apply the principles of justice and unity in their daily duties.
