
Afghan Cricket Team Officials Visit Injured Victims in Kabul Hospitals
Prominent members of Afghanistan's national cricket team, including Nasib Khan Zadran, Gulbadin Naib, Hashmatullah Shahidi and Qais Ahmad, visited injured victims from a recent incident at Kabul's Emergency Hospital and Wazir Muhammad Akbar Khan Hospital.
During the visits, Nasib Khan Zadran and Gulbadin Naib met with the injured, expressed sympathy, gathered firsthand information on their conditions and provided moral support.
The players promised cash assistance to help alleviate problems faced by the affected families. They described the incident as inhumane and contrary to Islamic principles, and called on the United Nations and other international organizations to take action to prevent such events from recurring.
Hashmatullah Shahidi and Qais Ahmad also condemned the incident and emphasized the need to support civilians.
The injured appreciated the sympathies and support but stated that their families are facing serious economic problems and require more assistance.
Previously, Rashid Khan, another prominent figure from the Afghanistan national cricket team, along with some sports officials, had condemned the incident as contrary to human and Islamic principles.
