The Afghanistan Kun Khmer Federation announced that its athletes secured two silver medals and three bronze medals at the sixth World Kun Khmer Championships, held under the International Kun Khmer Federation in Cambodia.

The Afghan team, led by Nabi Rezai and consisting of five athletes, participated in the event originally scheduled for December 2025 but postponed to February 10-13, 2026. Afghanistan finished 13th in the team rankings among 20 participating countries from various continents, with Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia taking the top three positions.

A total of 123 athletes, including 81 women, competed across 50 weight categories in youth, amateur semi-professional, and professional divisions. Eight world championship belts were also awarded during the competitions.
