Afghan Minister Says People Do Not Want Once-Expelled Individuals to Rule Again

Mullah Noorullah Noori, the Minister of Borders, Nations and Tribes, told a large public gathering in Kunduz province that the Afghan people trust the current Islamic system and do not want those once expelled to become their rulers again. He said Afghans reject overseas propaganda. Noori added that with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, Pakistan has lost the influence and cards it held for the past 20 years.

Noori emphasized that borders define the Islamic system and that one span of the nation's soil is more valuable than lives. He said Afghans are ready to defend it at the cost of their lives and property.

Sheikh Noor Mohammad Haqqani, Deputy Minister for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, attributed the Afghan people's victory solely to divine help from Allah rather than material resources or equipped armies.

Religious scholars, tribal elders, the Kunduz governor, district representatives, local residents and university professors attended the event. They expressed strong support for the Islamic Emirate, saying people will not allow anyone to act against the system and pledging to defend the homeland until their last drop of blood.
