Afghan Official Stresses Regional Water Cooperation in Turkey Roundtable

Abdul Hai Qanit, who serves as the Director of Strategic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, took part in an important roundtable that was held in Turkey. The focus of the gathering was on the topic of ensuring water security across Central Asia in light of the challenges posed by climate change.
This event was organized through the joint efforts of the International Institute for Central Asia as well as the International Water Management Institute. During his intervention at the roundtable, Qanit placed strong emphasis on the requirement to set up a joint framework aimed at managing water resources in the region.
