Afghanistan's national cricket team will play a five-match One Day International series against Ireland beginning August 5, 2026, in Northern Ireland and Belfast.

The matches are set for August 5 and 7 at Bready Cricket Club Stadium in Northern Ireland, followed by August 10, 12 and 15 at Stormont Stadium in Belfast. The series serves as preparation for future ICC events.

Rahmat Shah has been named the new ODI and Test captain, with Rahmanullah Gurbaz as vice-captain. The squad includes the return of fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi and spinners Rashid Khan and Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar. Mohammad Nabi will not take part.

Ireland will be without several key players due to injury for the first three matches. All games will be broadcast live on Ariana Television.
