
Afghanistan Football Federation to Hold Under-14 Talent Identification Competitions Across Six Zones
KABUL (Afghan Verified) -- The Afghanistan Football Federation is organizing talent identification football competitions for the under-14 age group across six zones, with selected teams from 28 provinces participating.
The events will kick off in the southwest zone, which includes teams from Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul and Daykundi provinces, in Kandahar city on 18 Hamal 1405. The north zone competitions, involving teams from Sar-e Pol, Balkh, Samangan, Jowzjan and Faryab provinces, are scheduled to begin in Sar-e Pol province on 20 Hamal 1405.
Competitions will continue in the northeast, southeast, west and central zones. Zone champions will advance to a second stage, where the six top teams will compete to determine the final champion.
The initiative aims to identify talented players for the Afghanistan under-14 national team. The federation will cover all costs for the selected players invited to join the national squad.
