Afghanistan’s Consul in Mashhad Pledges Transparent Services to Afghan Migrants

Mawlawi Noor Mohammad Mutawakil, Afghanistan’s General Consul in Mashhad, recently convened with representatives of Afghan migrants residing in several Iranian provinces to address their concerns and outline commitments for improved consular support.

The meeting included delegates from Razavi Khorasan, North Khorasan, South Khorasan, and Golestan provinces. During the discussions, Mutawakil listened to proposals and feedback from the migrant community regarding their legal status, documentation, and daily challenges in Iran. He emphasized the consulate’s commitment to delivering honest, transparent, and efficient services to all Afghan nationals seeking assistance.

Mutawakil stated that the diplomatic mission would continue to prioritize the welfare of Afghan migrants and work to resolve administrative hurdles through direct engagement with local authorities.
