Afghanistan's Justice Minister Says Pakistani Attacks Lack Religious Justification
KHOST, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) -- Sheikh al-Hadith Maulvi Abdul Hakim Shara'i, Afghanistan's Minister of Justice, stated during a visit to border security posts in Khost province that attacks and airspace violations by Pakistan's military regime on Afghan soil have no religious or moral justification.
Shara'i said Pakistani scholars have accepted this view. He made the remarks while meeting with Islamic Emirate border forces along the Durand Line.
According to Bakhtar News, the minister praised the morale and strong spirit of the mujahideen facing recent Pakistani attacks, calling their counter-attacks in defense of the system and people praiseworthy. He also congratulated the forces on Eid al-Fitr and said spending one night in a trench protecting Allah's religion is more valuable than any worldly possession.
Hurriyat reported that Shara'i spoke amid repeated Pakistani attacks on Afghan soil, including strikes on civilians during Eid nights and days despite a ceasefire, causing casualties.
Bakhtar News and RTA News Agency said Shara'i appreciated the round-the-clock efforts of the border forces in ensuring security and preserving the Islamic system at the end of the visit.
