Approximately 90,000 Tourists Visit Panjshir Province Last Month

Approximately 90,000 domestic tourists and 16 foreign visitors traveled to the natural attractions and historical sites of Panjshir province over the past month, according to local administration officials.

Spokesperson Saifuddin Laton stated that the rise in visitor numbers is primarily due to the current security situation and favorable weather conditions in the region. Laton specifically highlighted the Pariyan district as being one of the most significant tourist destinations in Panjshir, drawing a large portion of the visitors.

Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim addressed the visiting crowds, requesting that all tourists observe and respect the principles of Islamic Sharia during their time in the province. Furthermore, the Governor urged visitors to follow environmental protection guidelines to prevent damage to the local ecosystem and maintain the integrity of the province's natural beauty.
