Aziz Brothers from Farah Win Western Zone Futsal Tournament

The futsal tournament for the Western Zone has concluded in Farah. The event spanned three days and brought together four teams from the provinces of Farah, Herat, Ghor, and Badghis. These teams competed to determine the regional champion and other placements.

The Aziz Brothers team, representing Farah, secured the top position in the tournament. They achieved the championship by defeating the team from Badghis in the final match with a score of six goals to one. This result means that the Aziz Brothers team has now qualified to participate in the second phase of Afghanistan's premier futsal league.

The team from Herat known as Khwafi claimed third place in the competition. They did so by winning against the Arian Cyclist team from Ghor in the match for third position, finishing with a score of five goals to zero.

Hamid Farahi, who is the head of the Farah Futsal Committee, offered his views on the tournament. He noted that continued competitions and support would help athletes from Farah to achieve better results in their sporting endeavors.
