Baghlan Wins North Zone Kurash Championship

The North Zone Kurash competitions among athletes from Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Jowzjan, and Balkh provinces have concluded. Baghlan secured the first place in the event.
Eighty athletes participated in the competitions. The team from Takhar placed second, and the team from Kunduz placed third. The Kurash Federation organized the competitions, which ended with the awarding of cash prizes and trophies to the top performers.
Sayed Hashmatullah Sadat, the head of the Baghlan Kurash Federation, stated that the purpose of the competitions was to develop Kurash. He added that the event aimed to promote sports among youth and to strengthen unity among athletes.
