Bill Gates has provided testimony to a U.S. House committee regarding his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. He indicated that he was unaware of the full extent of Epstein’s criminal activities when they met. The meeting took place in 2011. Gates reported that he never visited any of Epstein’s properties. He also said that he ended contact with Epstein in 2014.

Gates stated clearly that he had never participated in or supported any wrongdoing. He further noted that he had never harmed anyone. These statements were made as the committee examines connections between prominent figures and Epstein.

The scrutiny by Congress involves reviewing the network associated with Epstein. Gates first met the individual in 2011. All contact was terminated by 2014.

In 2019, Epstein was arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges involving underage girls. He subsequently died in a New York jail. Officials ruled the death a suicide.

Gates specified in his testimony that he never visited Epstein’s private island. He did not go to the ranch. He also avoided the residence in Florida. The testimony aims to clarify his involvement or lack thereof with the activities in question.

The committee continues its work on this review. Gates provided on-record statements about the timeline and his knowledge. He maintained throughout that he had no awareness of the crimes at the relevant time.
