Borders and Tribal Affairs Minister Emphasizes National Unity During Baghlan Visit
Mullah Noorullah Noori, the Minister of Borders, Tribal and Ethnic Affairs, led a delegation to Baghlan province to address local religious scholars, tribal elders, and officials. During a public gathering, Noori emphasized that national unity remains the cornerstone of stability across the country and highlighted the administrative and security progress achieved under the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Addressing regional security concerns, Noori criticized the historical actions of the Pakistani military establishment. He asserted that certain military operations have been influenced by colonial legacies and argued that attacks against Afghanistan have been launched from across the border. He reaffirmed Afghanistan’s commitment to maintaining its sovereignty and independence.
Baghlan Governor Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Haqqani also spoke at the event, stressing the importance of tribal cohesion and coordinated efforts between local communities and provincial authorities. He noted that sustained cooperation is essential for maintaining public order and advancing development initiatives in the region.
Local religious figures and tribal leaders used the occasion to pledge their continued support for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and its security apparatus. Representatives from the community stated their readiness to assist security forces in maintaining stability. During the meeting, attendees also submitted formal proposals addressing youth recruitment, infrastructure reconstruction, and educational development, which Noori acknowledged as part of the ministry’s ongoing engagement with provincial stakeholders.
