The incident involved a 580-type passenger vehicle near Loyna Bazaar, as reported by the police media office. The injured were taken to medical centers for treatment, while authorities continue searching for the missing child.
Reports differ on the cause. Omid Radio stated the vehicle overturned, while Pajhwok Afghan News said the bus was swept away by floodwaters on Thursday night. Bazaar spelling also varied slightly, with Loyna cited by Omid Radio and Lainya by Pajhwok.
