The National Disaster Management Agency, with financial support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), has provided clean drinking water to nearly 100 families in the Deh Sabz and Farzi districts of Kabul province.

In the Tara Ku village of Deh Sabz district, a new solar-powered water supply network was constructed to serve 50 families. The technical specifications of the installation include a nine-cubic-meter reservoir, six solar panels, a two-kilowatt pump, and 130 meters of piping.

In the Farzi district, the agency focused on rehabilitation efforts in Qala Karim village. A water supply network that had been damaged by natural disasters was repaired, restoring access to clean drinking water for 40 families.

The projects were implemented by the Kabul province disaster management department to improve local access to essential water resources.
