The construction of a new 50-bed health center has commenced in the Giro district located in Ghazni province. This initiative comes at a total cost of 64 million Afghanis. It is being carried out as part of the national program for the development of health facilities.

The inauguration of the project was attended by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui. He holds the position of Financial and Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Public Health. The site covers an area of five jeribs of land.

After completion the health center is expected to have 45 service rooms. It will also feature an equipped electrical system. Additionally a mosque will be included in the facility.

Authorities have announced that four other similar health centers will start being built in Ghazni province during the solar year 1405.
