
Construction Begins on New Bridge in Logar’s Azra District
Construction has commenced on a new bridge in the Jani Khel area of Azra district, Logar province. The infrastructure project, funded by the Ministry of Borders, Tribes and Ethnic Affairs, is designed to enhance local connectivity and support regional development.
Logar Deputy Governor Mawlawi Mohammad Anwar Dinparwar announced the initiative during a groundbreaking ceremony. He stated that the bridge will span 63 meters in length and measure five meters in width. According to official project details, the total construction cost is precisely 22,999,993 Afghanis.
Provincial officials stated that the bridge will improve local infrastructure and provide better connectivity for residents in the surrounding areas. The structure is intended to facilitate daily travel and support the movement of goods within the district.
The Ministry of Borders, Tribes and Ethnic Affairs has provided the complete funding for the initiative. Provincial authorities will oversee the construction process to ensure the project is completed according to the allocated budget and engineering plans. The deputy governor noted that the development reflects ongoing efforts to upgrade transportation networks in Logar province.
Work on the site has officially begun, with contractors mobilizing equipment and materials to start foundational construction.
