Construction Begins on New Building for Anwar-ul-Uloom Madrasa in Logar

Construction has begun on a new building for the Anwar-ul-Uloom religious madrasa in the Mangal Dara area of Azra district, Logar province. The project is expected to cost nearly 2 million Afghanis.

The initiative is funded by local residents and tribal elders in coordination with the Azra district education department. Local residents donated half a jerib of private land to the Directorate of Education for the madrasa.

The building will include six classrooms, one administrative room, a library, a kitchen and four toilet rooms. Construction is scheduled for completion within three months.

The madrasa operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education's Deputy Ministry for Islamic Studies. Shahpur Arab, spokesman for the Logar Directorate of Education, provided the information.
