Construction of Health Center Begins in Ghor's Marghab District

The construction of a basic health center has officially started in the Asperf area of Marghab district, which is situated in Ghor province. This development is intended to bring much-needed medical facilities closer to the people living in that particular region of the province.

The entire project is estimated to cost more than 1.5 million Afghanis. Funding and support for building the health center have been provided by the Public Health Directorate of Ghor province in cooperation with the Baran organization.

Provincial health officials took part in the inauguration ceremony that signaled the beginning of construction activities. Sheikh Abdul Wahed Hamas, serving as the head of the Ghor Public Health Directorate, was among the key figures present at the event. During his remarks, he noted that the facility would help meet the health requirements of residents in the Asperf area.

Furthermore, Hamas stated that the directorate is dedicated to working towards the provision of better and more effective health services for the population. Such projects are expected to contribute positively to the overall healthcare situation in Ghor province.

Residents from the Asperf area have shown a positive response to the news of the construction. They have indicated that the new health center will play a significant role in resolving many of the health-related issues that they have been dealing with for some time.
