
Construction of Road Costing Nearly 12 Million Afghanis Begins in Badghis
Construction has begun on the Qarqiteer road in the third district adjacent to Qal'a Now city center in Badghis province. The provincial governor's office announced the start of construction via a press release.
The road project costs eleven million nine hundred and seventy nine thousand Afghanis and is being implemented by the Qal'a Now municipality. This amount is nearly twelve million Afghanis.
The road is four hundred and sixty meters long and fifteen meters wide. It includes sidewalks and pedestrian paths on both sides.
Local residents are pleased with the project and expect it to resolve their commuting and transportation problems. The beginning of the construction was shared with the public through the official channel of a press release. The details have been made available for the people of the province.
This project by the municipality is expected to have a positive effect based on the residents' statements. They have indicated that their daily issues with transportation will be resolved by this new road.
With a length of four hundred and sixty meters and a width of fifteen meters, the road is a substantial addition to the local area. The inclusion of sidewalks and pedestrian paths on both sides will provide additional benefits for the users. The total investment of nearly twelve million Afghanis shows the scale of the work that has begun in Qal'a Now.
