Reliability assessment
Both sources corroborate the core event of floods/rains in Nangarhar causing deaths, injuries, house damage, and rescues; Amu TV provides direct attribution to Taliban press office in Nangarhar with concrete details; casualty figures differ (deaths 24-41, injuries 33-84) but do not undermine event confirmation.
The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Khaama Press: "growing humanitarian pressure", "wider humanitarian emergency", "deepening climate and resilience crisis", "avoidable loss" – these phrases mix reporting with advocacy framing, implying criticism of vulnerability and preparedness.
