Deputy Counter-Narcotics Minister Meets Faryab Governor

KABUL (Afghan Verified) - Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior, held a meeting with Maulvi Abdul Ahad Fazli, Governor of Faryab province.

The governor briefed Munir on the current activities and achievements in counter-narcotics efforts within Faryab province. He emphasized the provincial administration's commitment to increased cooperation in combating narcotics.

Munir stressed the importance of enhanced coordination between provincial officials and counter-narcotics authorities. He stated that better coordination would strengthen and accelerate the overall counter-narcotics process across the country.

The meeting underscores ongoing efforts by interior ministry officials to bolster provincial-level operations against drug production and trafficking, a key focus for Afghan authorities.
