Maulvi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with officials from the Nangarhar Union of Tourism, Pilgrimage, Hajj and Umrah Companies. The meeting was held in his office.

Fazlur Rahim Jawakman, head of the Nangarhar Union, thanked the Islamic Emirate and the Ministry of Information and Culture for their support in addressing the union's demands. He also pledged the union's cooperation with the government.

The union raised several specific demands during the discussions. These included accelerating the process of issuing licenses, organizing tourism exhibitions in the Siraj al-Emarat style, developing handicrafts, expanding tourism activities in Nangarhar province, and investing in the restoration of tourist sites.
