Dozens of Women's Rights Cases Resolved in Ghor

Officials in Ghor province reported that the Directorate for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Handling of Complaints resolved more than 40 cases related to women's rights over the past three months.

The cases included forced marriages, exchange of women for enmities, dowry, inheritance, family issues, and mediation. Four forced marriages were prevented, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 45.

Maulvi Mohammad Isa Jaber, media official of the directorate, said inspectors protected women's rights under Sharia in the provincial center and districts while preventing actions against Islamic Sharia, with cooperation from the public.
