Construction of a drinking water supply network has started in Abdullah Khel village in Farah Rud district of Farah province.

Funded by the Solidarity organization, the project carries a total cost of 4 million 221 thousand Afghanis. It features a storage capacity of 20 cubic meters and is set to be completed in the next two months. Upon completion, the network is expected to provide clean water to 182 families living in the village.

Mullah Ziauddin Matinzada, the head of rural rehabilitation and development for Farah, spoke about the initiative. These include the construction of roads, retaining walls, dams, and the installation of hand pumps in the region.
