Heavy rains have triggered floods in the mountainous Azra district of Logar province, destroying 15 houses, some huts and hundreds of jeribs of agricultural land.

No human casualties have been reported from the floods.

Maulvi Noorullah "Ghalib", the Azra district chief, along with representatives from relevant agencies, arrived at the affected site and transferred residents to safe areas to prevent further harm.
