
Four Killed in Farah Province Traffic Collision
Four people were killed in a traffic collision in central Farah province on Monday, provincial authorities confirmed. The incident occurred in the Digforosh area when a motorcycle collided with a Mazda-type passenger vehicle traveling along a local roadway.
Police records indicate that all four fatalities were passengers on the motorcycle. Officials stated that each victim died at the scene of the crash, and no additional casualties were reported among the occupants of the other vehicle.
Police spokesman Mullah Kaleemullah Nangyal addressed the incident, confirming the casualty count and outlining the immediate law enforcement response. He stated that a formal investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the collision and to establish whether traffic regulations were violated prior to the impact.
Investigators are currently reviewing the crash site, collecting physical evidence, and interviewing potential witnesses. The findings will be used to compile an official report on the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
