At least four people were killed and several others wounded in Israeli drone strikes on three vehicles in southern Lebanon.

The strikes targeted vehicles in the village of Meifadoun, with a follow-up attack hitting responders at the scene.

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned of a strong response if attacks on Lebanon continue, citing dozens of recent ceasefire violations. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the strikes violate a memorandum of understanding finalized between Iran and the United States to end the war and related military operations, including in Lebanon.

Reliability assessment

Single source (Pajhwok) provides concrete details and directly attributes claims to Reuters for the strikes and named Iranian officials/bodies for statements; core event of strikes is corroborated within the reporting with specific locations and sequence

The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Pajhwok: "strong response from the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran"; "Zionist regime"; "continued occupation of Lebanese territory" — these phrases introduce advocacy language, emotional framing of threat, and a partisan label for Israel that goes beyond neutral reporting.
