The Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan has arrested four Pakistani nationals upon their arrival at Sialkot International Airport after they returned from Saudi Arabia. These arrests were carried out due to the individuals' alleged involvement in an organized international begging network that used Umrah visas for entry into the country.
The arrested Pakistani nationals are Shahnawaz, Shazia Bibi, Sonia and Farzana Bibi. They are residents of Islamabad and three of them are women.
Immigration authorities at the airport detected suspicious travel records which led to the arrests. The four suspects were questioned by the Federal Investigation Agency and they confessed to their involvement in the begging network.

Following the arrests and confessions, the Federal Investigation Agency has started coordination with the Saudi Embassy. The purpose of this coordination is to find and arrest the main suspect in this case.
The agency is also aiming to dismantle the entire organized begging network that is operating between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The investigation is continuing to uncover more details about the network.
