
Grand Mosque Completed in Baghlan at Cost of 50,000 Dollars
A grand mosque has been completed in the village of Wali Katte Khilo in Pul-e-Khumri city, Baghlan province.
Built at a cost of 50,000 US dollars, the mosque is a one-floor structure featuring an ablution area and other facilities. It has a capacity to accommodate around 1,000 worshippers.
Imam Mawlawi Ghulam Mohammad Mazhari stated that the mosque will also serve as a center for the religious education of youth in the area.
Local residents have expressed joy over the opening of the mosque. The completion of the mosque provides the village with a new venue for religious worship. The facility includes necessary features to support daily prayers for a large number of people.
The ablution area offers appropriate space for worshippers to prepare for prayers. The mosque's size allows it to host substantial gatherings. Its role in youth religious education adds an important educational component for local young people.
The positive reaction from residents highlights the significance of the new mosque to the community in Wali Katte Khilo. The structure is now open for use following its completion and handover.
