Iran warns regional residents to avoid banks linked to US, Israel
Iran has warned that banks and economic centers associated with the United States and Israel in regional countries are potential next targets, urging people to stay away from these areas.
According to Iran's Student News Agency, around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, employees at Sepah Bank in Tehran were on duty when one of the bank's buildings was struck by an enemy missile attack. The United States and Israel have conducted joint attacks against Iran over the past week, prompting a strong response from Tehran.
Tasnim News Agency reported that the spokesman for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that the US and Israel targeted one of Iran's banks overnight. He said this action opens the door for Tehran to strike economic centers and banks belonging to the US and Israel in the region.
The spokesman warned: "Americans should expect our reciprocal and painful action. People in the region should not be within a one-kilometer radius of banks."
He added: "Economic centers and American and Zionist banks are the next targets of Iran's attacks."
