Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi Calls for End to Regional Conflicts, Warns US Against Ground Invasion
Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated that the end of the war in Iran must include the cessation of conflicts across the entire region, encompassing Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Araghchi said Iran seeks peace throughout the region. He urged the United States and Israel to end hostilities completely and permanently to avoid incurring further losses.
Araghchi warned that a U.S. ground invasion of Iran would result in a major defeat for American forces, with very high casualties.
His remarks underscore Iran's position amid ongoing regional tensions, emphasizing the interconnected nature of conflicts in the Middle East. Araghchi's statements highlight Tehran's demands for a comprehensive resolution rather than isolated ceasefires.
