Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Rejects Trump's Threats
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's threats, stating that the power of Iran's culture, logic and faith will prevail over force and violence.
Baghaei posted on X that "the power of culture, logic, and faith of a civilized nation in its rightful ideals will undoubtedly prevail over the logic of force and violence." He added that the Iranian nation will use all its capacities to safeguard its rights.
Trump warned on Truth Social that without an agreement, "a whole civilization will be destroyed tonight and will never return." He described the situation as one of the most important moments in world history, with potential for "revolutionary and amazing" transformations.
In a press conference, Trump called the period "critical" and gave Iran until 8 a.m. Eastern Time the next day to respond, noting that the deadline was approaching.
