Islamic Emirate Cabinet Meeting Discusses Healthcare Staff Issues

The fifteenth cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took place on Monday at the Arg, chaired by Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund. Discussions covered key topics related to the economy, society, and culture, resulting in several decisions.

A primary focus was the construction of the Kabul Province administrative complex in the Tangi Terakhail area of Deh Sabz district. The cabinet assigned a committee, headed by the Director General of Administrative Affairs, to review the construction plan, evaluate financial needs, and submit recommendations for approval.

The meeting also addressed challenges facing healthcare staff. Prime Minister Akhund tasked a committee led by Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanifi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, with engaging relevant health authorities to identify issues and propose solutions. The committee will report its findings to the cabinet.

The Ministry of Finance presented a report on central and provincial non-tax revenues for the third quarter of fiscal year 1404, detailing revenue opportunities and expenses for developmental projects. The cabinet approved the report.

Additionally, the cabinet considered measures to assist returning refugees, directing relevant offices to develop solutions and provide support.
