Islamic Emirate Foreign Minister Calls Improper Customs Creators of Hatred in Society

KABUL (Afghan Verified) -- Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, attended a meeting on implementing the Islamic Emirate leadership's 17th decree aimed at preventing improper and non-Sharia customs.

Speaking at the event, Muttaqi described these customs as violations of Islamic guidelines that economically oppress citizens and foster hatred in society. He stressed the importance of the decree in addressing such practices.

Muttaqi emphasized that moderation and balance form the foundation of Islamic life. He noted that the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to societal reform and strengthening Islamic values, taking practical steps alongside its other responsibilities.

A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the deputy minister and other scholars at the meeting also underscored the need for implementing the decree.
