KHOST, Afghanistan -- Sheikh Abdul Hakim Shar'i, Minister of Justice for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited Khost province, where he held a meeting with local scholars, influential figures and tribal elders.

Shar'i urged the scholars and elders to cooperate in tending to the wounded from what he described as "cowardly attacks" by the Pakistani military regime on the country's border areas, and to assist the affected families.

He stated that these attacks had led to the martyrdom of civilians, especially women and children, in various parts of the country. Shar'i noted that the Islamic Emirate is tending to and treating the wounded from these incidents.

In addition to support from local departments in Khost, Shar'i called on the people to help care for the wounded and extend a hand to their compatriots.

The scholars and tribal elders assured during their speeches that they would cooperate and provide the necessary assistance to the wounded and affected families.

Reliability assessment

Single source (RTA) provides direct, on-record attribution to named official Sheikh Abdul Hakim Shar'i (Minister of Justice) with concrete details including location (Khost Province), meeting participants, and specific statements made.

The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. RTA: "cowardly attacks" (حملات بزدلانه) uses derogatory emotional language to frame Pakistan's actions; "military regime" (رژیم نظامی) implies illegitimate rule with pejorative connotation; these mix opinionated framing with reporting.
