
Islamic Emirate Leadership and Interior Minister Visit Kajaki District
The leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan along with Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani made a visit to Kajaki district located in Helmand province. The visit took place last Friday. This trip by the senior leadership and the minister is in line with their responsibilities to oversee affairs in the provinces.
While in Kajaki district, the Islamic Emirate leadership and Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani laid the foundation stone for a large grand mosque. The foundation for this mosque was laid after taking into consideration the needs of the people living in the area. This ceremony was an important event for the district.
The grand mosque project is a significant undertaking that will serve the local community in Kajaki. By laying the foundation stone, the officials have initiated the work on this project. The needs of the local population were the main factor in deciding to build the mosque in this location.
Following the completion of the visit and the ceremony in Kajaki, the Interior Minister traveled to Greshk district in the same province. The minister continued his tour by going to Greshk after Kajaki.
The visits to Kajaki and then Greshk show that the Islamic Emirate is actively involved in different districts of Helmand province. Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani is one of the key figures who undertakes such visits to ensure that local needs are being addressed through various projects including the construction of mosques.
