Islamic Emirate Minister Says Pamiri Communities Receive Services Comparable to Central Regions

Mullah Nurullah Noori, the Minister of Border, Tribal and Provincial Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with tribal elders from Pamir District in Badakhshan province to review local development progress and address ongoing administrative challenges.

During the meeting, elders expressed appreciation for recent government initiatives in the region. They specifically highlighted the distribution of national identification cards, the restoration of telecommunications networks, and the expansion of health and education services over the past four years.

Addressing the attendees, Noori emphasized that the Pamiri communities have been prioritized under the current administration. He stated that residents in the district are now receiving administrative services and developmental attention comparable to those provided in Afghanistan’s central regions. The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to extending infrastructure and public services to remote and mountainous areas.

The meeting focused on assessing the implementation of provincial projects and identifying remaining gaps in service delivery. Officials and community representatives discussed strategies to further integrate the district into national administrative frameworks and improve local governance structures.
