Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Delegation Visits Russian Quality Assurance Research Center

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan dispatched a delegation to the Russian Federation. The delegation was led by Maulvi Sadrazam Usmani, who is the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock. The group visited the Quality Assurance Research Center for Agricultural and Livestock Products.

Upon arrival at the center, the delegation engaged in a technical meeting with their Russian hosts. The meeting covered a range of topics central to the agriculture and livestock sectors. Specifically, the participants examined quality control systems, approaches to food safety, and methods of standardization for the products.

Further discussions during the meeting revolved around the potential for expanding technical cooperation between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Russian Federation. The two sides also considered how to improve the process of standard certification for exports. Training programs for professional staff were likewise on the agenda.
