Israeli President Says No Specific Timetable for End of War with Iran
Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated in an interview with the German newspaper Bild on Tuesday, March 10, that there is no specific timetable for the end of the war with Iran. He emphasized that the focus should instead be on achieving the "final result."
Herzog stressed that halting the threat from Iran would enable the entire regional system to breathe again and allow the process of development to continue. He defended attacks on Iranian oil facilities, saying they were aimed at limiting the financial resources of Tehran's "war machine." According to Herzog, these actions have introduced changes in the structure of the Middle East.
The Israeli president further noted that evaluating the progress of the war solely through haste and rush would not yield results. Instead, progress must be made precisely, with consideration of the final objectives.
These remarks come amid reports that the United States and Israel have conducted their most severe airstrikes on Iran during the course of the war. Concerns over the continuation of tensions in the region have grown as a result.
