Israeli Strikes Kill 11, Including Children and Police Officer, in Gaza
At least 11 Palestinians, including two children and a police officer, were killed and nine civilians wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza on Tuesday.
Pajhwok Afghan News, citing Al Jazeera, reported the strikes hit northern Gaza. RTA, citing Reuters, provided details of attacks in Gaza City: a strike on a police vehicle that killed four people, including a three-year-old child, and an airstrike on Al-Shati camp that killed five, including one child.
The Gaza Health Ministry stated that since a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas began last October, Israeli forces have killed nearly 760 Palestinians and wounded 2,111 others. The overall death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,336, according to the ministry, as cited by Pajhwok.
The incidents occurred despite the ceasefire agreement.
