The Kandahar Department of Information and Culture has imposed a ban on the printing, publication, purchase and sale of any flags other than the official flag of the Islamic Emirate in the province.
Instructions were issued to libraries, printing centers, stationery stores, printing presses, decoration centers, and sales outlets in Kandahar city and all districts to strictly refrain from such activities.
The directive states that permission for printing and publication is granted only for the official flag of the Islamic Emirate. The ban prohibits all listed activities regarding flags that are not the official one.
